Elevated but easy. These juicy blue cheese burgers are made for our smooth, full-bodied We're Movin' On Up Cabernet Sauvignon. The dark fruit in the wine stands up to the rich, tangy blue cheese.

The wine: We're Movin' On Up Cabernet Sauvignon
Ingredients
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- ½ cup minced fresh chives
- 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- ¼ teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 12 hamburger buns, split
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, chives, blue cheese, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, mustard, and hot pepper sauce until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- When ready to cook, preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat and add a drizzle of oil.
- Remove the beef mixture from the refrigerator and form into 12 patties.
- Cook the patties until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the center reads at least 160°F (71°C), about 5 minutes per side. Serve on buns.
Chrishon's tip: Open the Cabernet about 20 minutes before dinner so it has time to breathe.
