Serves 6 to 8 | Chill at least 2 hours
The wine: Good Times Good Friends Pinot Grigio
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Love Cork Screw Good Times Good Friends Pinot Grigio
- 1 cup pear juice
- 2 cups apple cider (not spiced)
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cups sliced fruit: a mix of apples, pears, and oranges
- ½ cup fresh cranberries
- 2 cups chilled ginger ale or club soda, added just before serving
- Ice, for serving
- Rosemary sprigs, for garnish
Directions
- Prepare the fruit: thinly slice the apples and pears, cut the oranges into wedges, and rinse the cranberries.
- In a large pitcher, combine the Pinot Grigio, pear juice, apple cider, and lemon juice.
- Add the prepared fruit and stir gently to combine.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve, at least 2 hours and preferably overnight.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice and spoon in a few fruit slices and cranberries. Pour the sangria about ¾ full, top with ginger ale or club soda, and garnish each glass with a small rosemary sprig.
Chrishon's tip: Make it the night before. The longer the fruit soaks, the better it gets. Just wait to add the bubbles until you pour.
